DreamHack has announced that Malm\u00f6 will be the location for their second CS: GO Masters<\/a> event of 2019, hosting 16 teams that will compete for $250,000 in prize money.<\/p>\n

The competition announced yesterday that October 2019 will mark the third time DreamHack Masters is held at the Swedish city, which also hosted the inaugural tournament in 2016, then again in 2017.<\/p>\n

The 2018 DreamHack Masters was held at Marseille<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The DreamHack event will be held in Malm\u00f6 as a part of the Malm\u00f6 Game Week festival and will be split into two stages \u2014 the group stage and playoffs.<\/p>\n

Group Stages will take place in Malm\u00f6 M\u00e4ssan, the exhibition and convention centre in the city. Playoffs, on the other hand, will move to the Malm\u00f6 Arena.<\/p>\n

Michael Van Driel, the chief product officer at DreamHack, was understandably excited after the announcement.<\/p>\n

“Malm\u00f6 was the first city to ever host DreamHack Masters and so it holds a special place in all of our hearts, including a legendary win from NiP (Ninjas in Pyjamas) on home soil,” Van Driel said.<\/p>\n

“We are tremendously excited to bring CORSAIR DreamHack Masters back to Malm\u00f6 Arena and fans can expect the best experience yet as we expand to feature matches for 3 days in the arena and continue with more improvements for the visitor experience.”<\/p>\n

As of now, the only information regarding the event is that it will happen.<\/p>\n\n\n
