European League of Legends icon, Carl Martin Erik ‘Rekkles’ Larsson, bid a monumental farewell to Fnatic, marking the end of an era that had spanned over a decade.

This departure, which both parties announced on Twitter, signifies a new chapter in Rekkles’ career as he transitions from the AD carry position to the support role.

Rekkles was clear about his intentions for the future: “In a dream scenario, that’s me playing Support in the LEC, at least that’s what I’ve been grinding for the past 5 months.”

He believes that his persona, skills, and his understanding of the game are better suited for the Support role, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to achieving victory and once again gracing the World Finals stage.

Hey hey!

As you may or may not have heard, I'm no longer a part of Fnatic. It saddens me that we weren't able to make things work this year, but also makes me happy to see them succeed during summer and qualify for Worlds.
