Oh My God enter this match off a 1-2 loss against EDward Gaming, whereas FunPlus Phoenix have yet to play a single match this split. Regardless, it’s very easy to see how this game will go and it does not look too promising for OMG’s young squad.<\/p>\n

FunPlus Phoenix run through the 2020 LPL Summer was anything but convincing, but that does not take away from the fact that this team fields some of the best players from the region. They have further solidified themselves with the signing of top laner Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon, who is a major upgrade for an already stacked lineup, that seems set to contest their second LPL title.<\/p>\n

Even though the opening game of the split are usually fairly unpredictable, we don’t expect to see any surprises here. We are siding with FPX to make short work of OMG and win 2-0.<\/p>\n

Top Esports enter this match off a shock 0-2 loss against Suning in the season opener, however, we should give them some slack as they had to deal with Tang “huanfeng” Huan-Feng who played one of the best games of his career. Top are now set to face a much weaker opponent in Rogue Warriors, who should in theory, have no chance to achieve the same success as Suning.<\/p>\n

Rogue Warriors made quite a splash in the Demacia Cup 2020 with their off-meta picks and rule-bending strategies. Adding to that, they have also made a few promising roster changes in the bottom by signing the former Top Esports support Zhang “QiuQiu” Ming and ex-Royal Never Give Up ADC Lu “Betty” Yu-Hung.<\/p>\n

Rogue Warriors might not feature any star players, but they have the potential to finish inside the top eight by the end of the split. Although they seemed a bit off-sync in their game against Team WE, Rogue can be very unpredictable due to their deep champion pool and appear to be a team that can steal one map off Top.
