MOUZ and Heroic will kick off Group C action with both teams ranked inside the top 15 in the world. MOUZ are currently ranked 10th in the world, while Heroic are sitting at 13th.
MOUZ have been on the rise up the world rankings since February of this year, starting from 33rd and now sitting just inside the top 10. They hit a peak of fifth in the world after finishing fifth-sixth at IEM Cologne in July. Dorian “xertioN” Berman has been promoted from the MOUZ NXT roster to make his first-team debut, following in the footsteps of his teammates Adam “torzsi” Torzsas and Jon “JDC” de Castro.
Heroic will enter this ESL Pro League with a lot of people paying close attention to how they perform after back-to-back poor results. Coming straight off a seventh-ninth result at BLAST Premier Fall Groups and a 13-16th finish at IEM Cologne, Heroic have fallen from fifth in the world rankings to their current rank of 13. This Heroic core have been together for the last 18 months, so if they cannot show improvement in this group stage, we could be seeing some changes to this roster.
MOUZ will enter this series as outsiders and Heroic are quite short with most esports betting sites. However, MOUZ beat Heroic 2-0 at IEM Cologne last time these two teams met. Therefore, we will be investing our money in the over 2.5 maps market, as this could be the most competitive series of the day.

COMPLEXITY vs ASTRALIS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Complexity and Astralis will be the second clash in Group C. Complexity are ranked 31st in the world, so it is no surprise to see them start as outsiders against the no.5 team on the planet, Astralis.
Complexity added Hakon “hallzerk” Fjaerli before they started their BLAST Premier Fall Groups campaign, which reaped benefits instantly with the North American team beating Natus Vincere 16-9 in their first best-of-one contest for the event. However, the positives ended their as Complexity went on to lose every single map ending up in a 10th-12th finish. Complexity will be need to improve even more if they expect to get to beat Astralis and attempt to get out of the “group of death”.
Astralis have been one of the busiest teams on the CS:GO professional scene, as they have been playing just about every event, RMR and qualifier over the last two months. To say Astrlais have played a lot of Counter-Strike is a massive understatement. Astralis are coming off a seventh-ninth finish at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups, which would be considered a failure considering they had finished in third-fourth place at IEM Cologne the month prior.
Astralis were the no.3 team in the world a couple of weeks ago, which was their highest ranking since being the world no.2 in April 2021. The Danes will be looking for a positive start to their ESL Pro League with a big win over the struggling Complexity.
Astralis own all three victories over Complexity in their last three matches in the previous six months, and we don’t expect to see any different in this series. Astralis to win at -333.33 is too short to tip, so instead we will be taking Astralis at the rounds line of -7.5 with BetOnline.
Astralis -7.5 rounds
ENCE vs HEET CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Wednesday’s Group C action will conclude with the 15th-ranked team in the world, ENCE, taking on the 28th-ranked team in the world, HEET.
Once the no.2 team in the world, ENCE have slowly fallen down the rankings after the mid-season break to hit their lowest position since February of this year. After losing Lotan “Spinx” Giladi and Olek “hades” Miskiewicz to rival teams, the roster has been shaken up. Over the last month they have added Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia from Movistar Riders and Valdemar “valde” Bjorn Vangsa from OG, with both set to make their ENCE debut in this series. This series sets up as a must-win to get their ESL Pro League off to a positive start.
Over this year, HEET have been hovering between 20 and 30 in the world rankings, but they are hoping for some better things over the backend of this year and into 2023 with the addition of Audric “JACKZ” Jug from G2. The last event the French team participated in was Elisa Invitational Spring 2022, where HEET ran out victors after defeating Bad News Eagles 2-0 in the grand final. Since that tournament, HEET have been playing in a lot of IEM Rio Major qualifiers, so far registering a best finish of third place.
This clash is between two teams that are looking to climb back up the ESL world rankings with a winning start to ESL Pro League 16. We expect to see all three maps played in this series, so we will be investing in the overs in the total maps market.
