BYUN vs CLASSIC SCII BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: ByuN -243.9 at BetOnline | Classic +175 at BetOnline
When: May 26, 2022 | 18:00 KST

?Byun “ByuN” Hyun-woo last met with Kim “Classic” Doh-woo on Monday, when he claimed his sixth victory (2-0) of the year and his second consecutive against the Protoss player. Due to his strong head-to-head record against Classic, ByuN enters this bout as a -243.9 favourite, which sounds right.

Even though you should never count out Classic, he usually struggles against Terran. His career win rate against the race is only 56.67%, while his recent record shows a slightly lower 51.14%. Meanwhile, ByuN has a solid 66.75% career win rate into Protoss and has kept the win% stable over the year (66.84%).

Classic won against ByuN at the end of March (3-1) and at the start of April (2-0), but he has struggled in the last two outings. So, we could see a three-map series, but we’re leaning towards ByuN to get it done in two.

ROGUE vs ASTREA SCII BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Rogue -333.33 at BetOnline | Astrea +240 at BetOnline
When: May 26, 2022 | 18:45 KST

?As the latest StarCraft II betting odds suggest, Lee “Rogue” Byeong-yeol should have a reasonably easy time defeating Max “Astrea” Angel. But even though Rogue is the better player, he seems a bit overrated at the offered price.

Rogue and Astrea last met in December 2021, when Astrea won 2-1 and claimed his first head-to-head victory (1-4) against the Korean StarCraft II pro. Since then, a lot of time has passed, but that doesn’t mean that Astrea doesn’t stand a chance to emulate that success.

Astrea has been improving rapidly over the last year and holds a solid 58.86% career win rate against Zerg. Moreover, his PvZ win percentage in 2022 has risen to 82.61%. That translates to a 19-4 record, including two wins against the current sixth-highest rater Korean SCII player Park “DRG” Soo-ho.

Rogue is a more established player, and he is likely going to win, but the value is with Astrea. Alternatively, Astrea with a +1.5 map handicap is a solid option but at a much lower payout.
